Who runs this, and what it is for
An independent reference on hydrogen in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf. It is not a government publication, it sells nothing, and it states below what on the page is a placement rather than a finding.

Why it exists
Hydrogen in the Gulf is covered either by the parties building it or by subscription trade press. Between the two sits a gap: a plain, checkable record of what has been announced, what has been financed, what is operating, and what has been cancelled or shelved without announcement.
That gap matters because announcements outlive their projects. A capacity figure published in 2021 is still being cited in 2026 for a project that was cancelled, and no one goes back to correct the citation. This site's only job is to keep the record current and show its working.

gh2.ae is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the UAE Government or any of its bodies. The .ae domain is an address, not a credential. No state emblem, flag or government branding appears anywhere on this site.
Not a company site
ADNOC, Masdar, TA'ZIZ, EMSTEEL, DEWA, TAQA, Fertiglobe and every other organisation named here are referred to for identification and factual reporting only. No logo is used. No endorsement is implied or claimed.
Not for sale
There is no sponsorship, no affiliate link, no paywall and nothing for sale on this site. One tool is carried as a featured placement and is marked as such wherever it appears; nothing else here is a promotion.

The site is funded by its operator. It has no sponsors, no grants, no institutional backers and no advertising revenue. Running costs are the domain registration and static hosting.
Operator identity
The .ae registry publishes the registrant's name and email in its public WHOIS record, and its published WHOIS policy provides for no privacy or proxy service, so the operator of any .ae domain is identifiable by design. This site states its operator openly rather than leaving the reader to look it up. It publishes no postal address: the registry does not display one, and naming a controller with a working contact address is what data protection law asks for. Correspondence reaches the address in the footer, and is answered.
