How this site is funded, and why that is stated here

This site sells no advertising space, carries no sponsorship and no affiliate links. It sells nothing, solicits no donations, and has taken no payment from anyone for a listing, a link or a mention. It generates no revenue of any kind and is paid for by its operator. One tool is carried as a featured placement rather than an editorial listing; it is labelled as a placement wherever it appears, and the about page says so too.

That is stated plainly because it is the single most relevant fact about what this site is. If it ever ceases to be true, this paragraph will change before anything else on the site does.

Nature of the site

gh2.ae is an information website about hydrogen policy, projects and economics in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf. It sells no product or service, sells no advertising space, and receives no sponsorship. It carries one promotional placement, labelled as a placement wherever it appears.

It is not a UAE government website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the UAE Government, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, or any other public body.

Trademarks and third-party names

All company, project and institution names referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used for identification and factual reporting only, under nominative fair use. No third-party logo, emblem or visual identity is reproduced anywhere on this site, and no endorsement is claimed or implied.

Original text and the tables compiled by this site are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence, with attribution to gh2.ae and a link. Third-party data retains its own licence, which is stated beside each dataset on the Sources page and always takes precedence.

Liability for links

This site links extensively to external primary sources. Those pages are outside our control, and their content is the responsibility of their respective publishers. Links were checked at the retrieval date shown beside each citation.

Accuracy and corrections

Every figure is compiled from public sources and dated. Sources change, and figures go stale. If you find an error, write to the address above with the source, and the correction will be made publicly and dated in the corrections log.
